Haniya: Gaza Will Prevail and Overcome the Occupation

Ismail Haniya, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, affirmed that the Palestinian people "continue to fight a battle of honor, pride, and dignity against one of the most terroristic armies in the world." He added, "Our people's victory today extends from the victory of the Al-Aqsa flood on October 7. If the enemy wants a long battle, we are more enduring than they are, and we will have the final word." He called for the implementation of the decisions made at the Riyadh summit, particularly regarding breaking the siege on the Gaza Strip.

Haniya stated, "The resistance's ability to curb the enemy's ambitions is a source of strength for the entire nation." Regarding the Security Council's decision on the ceasefire, he said, "The Israeli entity continues to obstruct international resolutions. The Security Council's decision yesterday should have included a condemnation of the war crimes and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the West Bank."

He demanded the opening of the crossings and the complete and final end of the siege, as well as the acknowledgment of the rights of the Palestinian people unconditionally. He continued, "We tell the criminal enemy and those who support them that Hamas is rooted in its land, and neither the enemy nor its allies can change the reality in Gaza. Gaza has opened wide the door for strategic transformations in the region and has written history by striking the foundations of the Israeli project."

He concluded: "Let the world hear that the only rightful owner of determining the future of Gaza and all of Palestine is the Palestinian people with their free will," extending greetings to the "hot fronts of resistance that contribute to this battle along the strategical path pressing on the enemy."
