Soyuz Spacecraft Docks with International Space Station Carrying Three Astronauts

A live television broadcast showed the Russian spacecraft "Soyuz" successfully docking with the International Space Station today, Monday, carrying three astronauts from Russia, Belarus, and the United States. The Soyuz launched on Saturday, two days after the originally scheduled launch. The initial launch was canceled just seconds before takeoff on Thursday due to an issue with a chemical power source. The Russian astronaut Oleg Novitskiy, American Tracy Dyson, and Marina Vasilevskaya from Belarus are aboard the spacecraft. Novitskiy and Vasilevskaya will return to Earth on April 6 with American astronaut Loral Ohara, who is currently on the International Space Station.
