Macron: Moscow Attackers Tried to Carry Out Operations in France

French President Emmanuel Macron stated on Monday that "Russia was a victim of an attack by extremists," adding that "ISIS Khorasan" attempted to attack his country in recent months. During his visit to French Guiana, Macron mentioned that "the group responsible for the shooting in Moscow also tried to carry out several acts in France recently." He clarified, saying, "This group also attempted to commit several acts on our territory." Following the Moscow attack, France decided to raise its security alert level to the maximum as a precautionary measure.
