Sources revealed to "Reuters" that the Greek-flagged cargo ship "Sea Champion" arrived at Aden Port in southern Yemen today, Tuesday, after allegedly being the target of an accidental missile attack by the Houthi movement in the Red Sea. Greek shipping ministry sources stated that the Sea Champion was transporting a shipment of grains from Argentina to Aden, the seat of the internationally recognized Yemeni government, and was attacked twice on Monday, resulting in damage to a window without injuries to the crew. A source at Aden Port and a separate source in the shipping sector noted that the ship was offloading some of its cargo of about 9,229 tons in Aden before heading north to the port of Hodeidah, an area controlled by the Houthis. The source at Aden Port, who requested anonymity, indicated that the attack on the ship was a mistake. A separate source in Hodeidah, who also requested anonymity, stated that the Houthis informed them that the attack was unintentional.
