Director Manal Al-Sayfi had also prayed for her husband, artist Ashraf Moselhi, for a swift recovery after he was hospitalized again due to a deterioration in his health, posting several religious prayers, while fellow artists offered their support. Last July, during a phone call with media figure Iman Al-Hasri on her program on DMC channel, director Manal Al-Sayfi stated: "A specialized medical team accompanies Ashraf at home 24/7." She added, "The doctors confirmed that his condition is improving after the operation, but the tumor affecting my husband is one of the most dangerous types of cancer in the world."
