Riyadh Air Reveals Unique Visual Identity

Riyadh Air has unveiled its unique visual identity and the first design of the exterior for its fleet of aircraft, with a second design set to be announced in the near future. According to the newspaper Okaz, the launch event for the visual identity and the aircraft design was held at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, celebrating the new carrier in the Saudi capital, attended by several princes and prominent figures. The aircraft performed a low flyover in the capital's sky, passing key landmarks such as the King Abdullah Financial Center (KAFD), the Boulevard, and some towers located in the city center.

Riyadh residents were able to see the first design of the new airline's fleet adorning the capital's sky in lavender colors. Following this national celebration by the residents of Riyadh and the Kingdom, the aircraft will be transported to Paris to showcase Riyadh Air's identity internationally as part of its participation in the 54th Paris Air Show starting on Monday, June 19, 2023, according to Okaz.

It was noted that the new carrier, Riyadh Air, will contribute to delivering a new level of guest experience by adopting the latest digital technologies that will reshape the future of aviation and travel. Notably, the visual identity of Riyadh Air reflects modernity and a forward-looking vision from Saudi Arabia. It is inspired by the kingdom's genuine hospitality and the vibrant lavender colors that cover the country's land in spring, which are reflected in the exterior design of the unique aircraft fleet to begin a new era of creativity and leadership in aviation. The design integrates key landmarks of the kingdom and the capital, including the curves of Arabic script with the marketing and media campaign slogan "The Future Begins Here," according to Okaz.

Riyadh Air will connect the capital to over 100 destinations around the world, leveraging the kingdom's strategic location that links Asia, Africa, and Europe and enables access to over 60% of the world's population within an eight-hour flight. The new airline aims to rely heavily on innovation in providing air transport services and to be an effective component of the national transport and logistics strategy and the national tourism strategy in the Kingdom, positioning Riyadh as a gateway to the world and a global destination for transport, trade, and tourism. Additionally, Riyadh Air aims to facilitate 100 million visits to Saudi Arabia by 2030 by welcoming travelers from around the world, including tourists, business traffic, and major events throughout the Kingdom.
