Military Spokesperson of Ansar Allah: We Targeted a British Ship in the Gulf of Aden

In a statement issued by the Yemeni armed forces, the military spokesperson for the Ansar Allah group, Yahya Saree, announced that "the naval forces in the Yemeni armed forces carried out a military operation targeting the British ship 'LYCAVITOS' while it was sailing in the Gulf of Aden, and the targeting operation utilized appropriate naval missiles that hit it directly." He emphasized that "the Yemeni armed forces, with the help of God, will continue to prevent Israeli navigation or vessels heading to the ports of occupied Palestine in the Red and Arabian Seas until the aggression stops and the blockade on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted." He added: "The Yemeni armed forces, as part of the legitimate right to defend dear Yemen, are in the process of taking further measures in response to American-British aggression and to reaffirm the practical stance supporting the Palestinian people." He called on "all free and honorable individuals from our Arab and Islamic nation to take serious practical positions in support of our brothers in Gaza and to reject the Zionist crimes supported by the United States and Britain."
