Title: The Arrest of the Most Dangerous Drug Dealer in Maysan

The Directorate of Intelligence and Security of the Ministry of Defense in Iraq announced today, Friday, the arrest of a dangerous drug dealer with a large quantity of drugs and weapons in Maysan Province. The directorate stated in a statement that "through a specialized operation based on accurate intelligence information, the Special Intelligence Task Force of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security of the Ministry of Defense, in coordination with drug enforcement, was able to apprehend one of the most dangerous drug dealers in Maysan Province." It noted that "the accused has a warrant for arrest issued under Article (28 of the Drug Law)."

The statement added that "after interrogation, the accused confessed to the presence of narcotics, weapons, and missiles buried in the Al-Azi area. Immediately, a team was dispatched to the indicated location and found 4 kilograms of Captagon pills, 2 kilograms of crystal meth, 8 hand grenades, and 9 various missiles." It pointed out that "the materials were safely retrieved, and the accused was referred to the relevant authorities."
