The region of Bent Jbeil mourned this evening, Saturday, the loss of its son, teacher Ali Saad, who died from injuries sustained during an Israeli airstrike on Bent Jbeil earlier today. Teacher Ali Saad, a chemistry professor at Bent Jbeil Secondary School, fell victim to the treacherous Israeli targeting. He was beloved by students and everyone who knew him, recognized for his kindness and good morals. Ali is now a martyr.
On another front, Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee announced this evening that the air force carried out extensive airstrikes in the Kfar Kila area in southern Lebanon. He wrote on "X": "Earlier today, warplanes targeted Hezbollah infrastructure in the Kfar Kila area in a concentrated campaign that included two waves of strikes on a series of targets in the morning and afternoon." He added: "The village of Kfar Kila is considered a stronghold for Hezbollah, which uses its infrastructure for (terrorist) purposes and exploits the civilian community as human shields for its activities. Since the beginning of the fighting, Hezbollah has used the village multiple times to launch shells towards Israeli territory."
In light of escalating tensions at the southern border of Lebanon, the "Islamic Resistance" announced that "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their honorable resistance, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted enemy soldiers in the Beit Helal area at 3:15 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023, with appropriate weapons, inflicting confirmed injuries."
