Thieves managed to escape from a company in Los Angeles after stealing $30 million in cash by breaking into the building on Easter and cracking the safe. Investigators are now working to uncover the bold money heist, which is considered one of the largest recorded robberies in Los Angeles. Los Angeles Police Chief Eileen Morales told the "Los Angeles Times," which reported the crime, that the thieves were able to breach the building as well as the safe, and company employees did not realize the massive theft until they returned to work on Monday.
