Today, Monday, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, released 11 Israeli captives to the "Red Cross" as part of the fourth phase of the exchange. A spokesperson from the Qatari Foreign Ministry stated that those freed from Gaza include 3 who are French, 2 German, and 6 Argentine. Journalistic sources reported that the delivery of the fourth batch was conducted publicly and with community attendance.

The release of the fourth batch of Israeli captives by "Hamas" comes within the framework of the humanitarian ceasefire agreement that went into effect last Friday. Since then, three batches of prisoners from both sides have been delivered simultaneously. The Qatari Foreign Ministry and Hamas announced Monday evening that an agreement had been reached with the Israeli side to extend the humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza for two additional days. Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majid Al-Ansari stated on the "X" platform that Qatar "announces that, as part of ongoing mediation (between Hamas and Israel), an agreement has been reached to extend the humanitarian ceasefire for two additional days in Gaza." For its part, Hamas stated in a brief announcement on "Telegram" that "an agreement has been reached with our brothers in Qatar and Egypt to extend the temporary humanitarian ceasefire for an additional two days under the same terms as the previous ceasefire."
