On Saturday evening, the UAE announced the departure of the third aid ship to support the residents of the Gaza Strip, carrying 4,630 tons of humanitarian materials, headed to the city of Al-Arish in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation "Brave Knight 3".

The ship, which set sail from the Port of Fujairah, carries 4,218.3 tons of food supplies, 370.2 tons of shelter materials, and 41.6 tons of medical aid, in addition to 6 water tanks, 2 sewage tanks, and a diesel tank.

Safeguarding the ship's cargo involved the Emirates Red Crescent, the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, facilitated by 267 trucks that unloaded their cargo onto the ship.

As part of Operation Brave Knight 3, the UAE has launched several initiatives, including the establishment of two field hospitals, one within the Gaza Strip and the second a floating hospital off the coast of Al-Arish, along with setting up 5 automatic bakeries. Additionally, flour was provided for 8 existing bakeries in Gaza, and 6 desalination stations were established producing 1.2 million gallons daily, benefiting over 600,000 people in the Gaza Strip.

Recently, the Joint Operations Command launched the "Birds of Goodness" operation to drop humanitarian aid to isolated areas that do not receive assistance in the northern Gaza Strip, with a total of 486 tons of humanitarian aid dropped to date.
