Two Iraqi security sources reported today, Saturday, that "a military helicopter crashed while attempting an emergency landing during a training mission in the northern part of the country, but no injuries were reported." The sources added: "The helicopter crashed in the Makhmour area, about 60 kilometers southwest of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq." They mentioned that "the helicopter belonged to the international coalition led by the United States and was attempting an emergency landing due to a technical malfunction."
