He emphasized, "We will work to develop our bilateral relations and coordinate high-level visits between Baghdad and Tripoli in the upcoming period," noting "Iraq's support for international efforts to restore security and stability in Libya, and reliance on the political option that meets the aspirations of the Libyan people."

He mentioned that "the reopening of the Iraqi embassy in Libya aims to activate political and diplomatic work to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries, in addition to providing services and consular work for the Iraqi community residing in Libya."
