Minister of Industry to Announce Lebanon's Future Vision for Industrial Development Tomorrow

Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, George Bou Chacon, represented Lebanon at the opening session of the 20th General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) at its headquarters in Vienna, Austria, with the participation of heads of state and government, ministers, ambassadors, delegates, and experts. This year's conference is titled: "Fair Globalization: Innovative Solutions for Tomorrow's Industry" and will continue for five days. It focuses on the importance of partnerships in achieving the industrial development program by 2030. During the opening session, UNIDO Director General Gerd Müller presented the organization's plan for sustainable industrial development, which is expected to bring economic benefits, growth, and prosperity to member states. Bou Chacon will give a speech tomorrow at the general session, where he will announce Lebanon's future vision for industrial development. He has held a series of meetings with a number of ministerial heads of the participating delegations, discussing ways to develop mutual industrial relations between their countries and Lebanon. He participated in a seminar held by the Arab-Austrian Chamber of Commerce, attended by representatives of Arab countries and Austrian officials and businessmen.
