The President of the Saudi General Court of Audit, Hussam bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Anqari, and the Auditor General of the National Audit Office in China, He Kai, signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the fields of accounting, auditing, and professional work today, Monday, in Beijing, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to China, Abdul Rahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi. Al-Anqari explained that this memorandum is an extension of the memoranda of understanding that the General Court of Audit has concluded with several counterparts in friendly and brotherly countries, which reflects the prestigious professional position of the court at both regional and international levels and its important role in sharing its distinguished professional expertise with peer agencies that are members of regional and international organizations for supreme audit institutions. He noted that the memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the General Court of Audit and the National Audit Office in China in the areas of financial auditing and compliance, as well as performance auditing through a number of research and consulting projects, and by organizing meetings, conferences, and training programs on topics of mutual interest, within the framework of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), in which both parties are members.
