After Targeting Safed: Israeli Airstrikes Continue Inside Lebanon

The escalation in the south has intensified, with increasing Israeli shelling on villages and towns in the south, alongside operations from southern Lebanon targeting Israeli positions. The Israeli Air Force announced the start of a series of airstrikes inside Lebanon just hours after targeting a building in Safed and an Israeli base in Meron.

The Israeli military began its airstrikes by targeting the towns of Shabia, Sawana, and Adshit in southern Lebanon, and also launched two strikes on Sawana in the Marjayoun district and on Bisliya in the Jezzine district of Lebanon, as well as on the outskirts of the towns of Jabaa, Sanya, and the area surrounding the town of Zahle in the Jezzine district. A Syrian family of three (a mother and her two sons) was killed when a house in the town of Sawana in southern Lebanon was targeted.

Furthermore, Israeli warplanes conducted a strike on the town of Shabia, hitting a house, prompting ambulances to rush to the area. The Israeli airforce also attacked the Al-Jabour site in the Jezzine district.

Regarding the Safed operation, a building in Safed was targeted today, Wednesday, and the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that five people were taken to the hospital following the shelling in the city of Safed in Upper Galilee.
