An Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle this morning, Saturday, in the Hammara area near Naqoura in southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of three individuals inside the vehicle. Security sources in Lebanon reported that the Israeli strike killed three Hezbollah fighters in the south of the country today, marking the latest incident in the ongoing border hostilities amid the war in Gaza. The sources indicated that the men were killed when their vehicle was targeted on a coastal road close to the town of Naqoura. The Israeli military stated it is verifying reports regarding the incident. Hezbollah indicated last week that it would cease its attacks if the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip stopped, but it is also prepared to continue fighting if the conflict in the sector persists. Hezbollah announced yesterday, Friday, the deaths of four of its members in Lebanon.
On the ground, Israeli artillery strikes continued, targeting the outskirts of the town of Naqoura, Jabal al-Labouna, and Alim al-Shaab. Israeli reconnaissance aircraft maintained their flights over the villages of Tsur and Bint Jbeil, also dropping illumination flares over the border villages adjacent to the blue line. Shortly before midnight, Hezbollah mourned member Ali Mohamed Chalhoub "Shahab," born in 1993 from the town of Qana.
