The internal front in the Gaza Strip warned today against the Israeli authorities' announcements regarding the assassination of high-ranking figures in the resistance, emphasizing the "necessity of obtaining information from official Palestinian sources." The front stated in a statement, "The enemy announces from time to time the assassination of high-ranking figures in the resistance, specifying time and place, leaving the outcome open to doubt, hence the necessity of obtaining information regarding the resistance from its official Palestinian sources, not from the enemy's media."
It added, "The enemy leaves the door open for questions among the public, and the Shin Bet officers and the intelligence units are currently monitoring the phones of our people in the strip: (Was so-and-so assassinated? Is he injured? Which houses were targeted by the army in that announcement?) and other questions, all of which serve the interest of the occupation. The occupation army has previously announced the assassination of several resistance leaders, and it was later proven to be false. The silence of the resistance is for security reasons, and the resistance has its known media platforms through which it publishes its official and relevant news. Be personally responsible in your security awareness, and do not contribute to your enemy unknowingly."
