Organizers of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games announced today, Tuesday, that "tens of thousands of track and field tickets will be available for sale next Monday for the events taking place at the Stade de France from August 2 to August 10." The Paris 2024 organizers stated in a release: "Tens of thousands of new tickets will be sold in this 'special track and field' release." They continued: "This is part of a series of surprise events organized by Paris 2024 in the weeks leading up to the Olympic Games." The organizers mentioned: "The cheapest tickets, which will be designated for the morning sessions, will cost 24 euros, while evening session offerings will start at 85 euros." Over eight million of the ten million tickets for the Olympics, scheduled from July 26 to August 11, have already been sold.
