"Water Lilies": Famous Paintings as Attire for Elie Saab's Bride

Elie Saab presented its bridal collection for 2025 in the form of a photo guide released during the New York Bridal Fashion Week. The designs were inspired by a series of paintings by the famous French artist Claude Monet. Under the title "Water Lilies," the Impressionist painter Claude Monet (1840-1926) created around 250 paintings depicting scenes from the flower garden at his home in Normandy, France. These works were the main focus of his artistic production during the last thirty years of his life, and designer Elie Saab chose them as the inspiration for his Spring/Summer 2025 bridal collection.

The designs of this collection embodied the legendary essence of water lilies, transforming it into captivating creations with enchanting elegance. Elie Saab's brides appeared romantic with a modern touch, adorned with three-dimensional flowers and sparkling embroidery that took geometric forms or decorations made of pearls and crystals. This collection, titled "Eternal Spring," relied on classic cuts suitable for the romantic bride, with a focus on the shoulder and waist areas. The luxurious fabrics used to create these dreamy white gowns enhanced their elegance.
