Russia Detains Defense Ministry Employee in Bribery Case

TASS news agency reported that a Russian court has ordered the detention of another suspect following the arrest of Deputy Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, who is suspected of receiving bribes. Court documents revealed that an order was issued to detain Anton Vilatov, one of Timur Ivanov's aides, Deputy Defense Minister. The Federal Security Service arrested Ivanov on Tuesday while he was working and charged him with receiving large bribes. The Basman Court in Moscow ordered Ivanov's detention until June 23.
