The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia has emphasized the necessity of protecting children and not exploiting them for commercial and advertising purposes, in accordance with Article 3 of the Child Protection System and its executive regulations. In a statement released today, Friday, the ministry pointed out that the system aims to safeguard children from the dangers of exposure to large audiences, which can negatively affect their developmental stages. They confirmed that such situations can lead to stress and anxiety that contradict the child's age and make them susceptible to bullying among peers. This reminder coincides with the ministry's observation of certain non-profit entities utilizing children in Ramadan donation campaigns and marketing communications campaigns. The ministry also confirmed the identification of violations concerning the exploitation of children for commercial purposes, which contradicts the Child Protection System and its executive regulations.
