Following a meeting held on Friday and Saturday, the party endorsed Hannon, who has previously run in the presidential elections in 2004, 2009, and 2014, according to national television. Hannon stated that this participation represents a victory for democracy, emphasizing that her electoral campaign will be aggressive rather than defensive.
