Iraq: Containers Carrying Disassembled Cars Violating Customs Law Seized

The Iraqi Border Forces announced today, Friday, the seizure of 14 containers carrying disassembled cars that violated customs law regulations in Umm Qasr. The command stated in a statement that "the customs police station in the northern Umm Qasr managed to seize 14 containers carrying dismantled cars and disassembled motorcycles, in violation of the import conditions and regulations according to customs law." It added, "A proper seizure report has been prepared, and necessary legal actions have been taken."
