Settler Attacks in the West Bank Target Sheep

Today, Friday, settlers stole 25 sheep from a Palestinian citizen in eastern West Bank. The general supervisor of the Baider Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, Hassan Melihat, stated in a statement that "settlers attacked the Arab Maleihat gathering near the city of Jericho from three directions early Friday morning, stealing 25 sheep." He added that the citizens in that area, while guarding, sensed the presence of "ambushes from the settlers" from several directions, resulting in "skirmishes with the attacking settlers before they stole the sheep belonging to citizen Abdel Latif Attallah Suleiman." This incident comes amid rising settlement activity in the West Bank since the onset of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
