At the conclusion of the International Horticultural Expo Doha 2023, themed "Green Desert, Better Environment," the general commissioners of Expo Doha 2023, General Director of the Ministry of Agriculture Louis Lahoud and General Director of the Ministry of Economy and Trade Mohamed Abou Haidar, expressed their gratitude to the State of Qatar, the Lebanese community in Qatar, and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Lebanon for their substantial support in establishing the Lebanese pavilion and for the facilitation provided to ensure Lebanon's successful participation in the International Horticultural Expo Doha 2023.
Lahoud and Abou Haidar extended their appreciation and thanks to the Chargé d'Affaires of the Lebanese Embassy in Doha, Ambassador Farah Berri, the embassy team, and Economic Attaché Shadi Abou Daher for their daily follow-up and efforts in completing the pavilion's construction and operations, as well as overseeing activities for a duration of six months. They also thanked Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam and Minister of Agriculture Abbas Al-Haj Hassan for their supervision and support.
Lahoud and Abou Haidar announced that the Lebanese pavilion at Expo Doha 2023 received the silver prize in the category of Best Large Pavilion. It is noteworthy that the Lebanese state did not incur any expenses for Lebanon's participation in Expo Doha.
