Massive March in the Jordanian Capital in Support of Gaza

Popular, party, and youth events organized a march in the Jordanian capital, Amman, after Friday prayers, in support of Gaza and denouncing the "international silence regarding the crimes committed by the Israeli army" in the region. Participants in the marches expressed their condemnation and anger "towards the continued brutal aggression and the genocide crimes committed by the occupying forces against civilians in Gaza, particularly in the Jabalia refugee camp in the north of the sector, which has recently faced intensified bombing by the Israeli army."

The participants called on the international community and international organizations to take immediate action to "stop the aggression and adopt serious stances to deter the assaults and compel the occupying authorities to adhere to international humanitarian laws and treaties that grant the Palestinian people their right to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital."

The Jordanian government channel "Al-Mamlaka" reported that the march carried the slogan "Gaza Resists," and also condemned "Israeli crimes in the West Bank." Participants demanded "cutting ties with Israel and providing Gaza's residents with aid amidst the ongoing starvation in the sector."
