G7: We Will Support a Reliable Path to a Two-State Solution

The G7 announced today, Monday, its support for U.S. President Joe Biden's proposal for a sustainable peace in Gaza, urging Hamas to accept it. In a statement from the group, the leaders "fully endorse" Biden's proposal, "which would lead to an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all hostages, a significant and sustainable increase in humanitarian aid to be distributed throughout Gaza, a permanent end to the crisis, while ensuring Israel's security interests and the safety of Gazan civilians."
