The Saudi Arabian Association for Culture and Arts in Jeddah will launch the first photography forum tomorrow, Monday, at its headquarters. The forum will take place from February 26 to March 10, 2024. It will feature the exceptional photography exhibition "Memoria" by artist Mohammad Mohtaseb, showcasing inspiring photographic works that express the photographer's noble message and reflect the depth and richness of his experience in using his lens to tell the stories of cultures worldwide.

The forum will be enriched with discussion sessions featuring artist Mohammad Mohtaseb, who will speak about the vision and message of the photographer and his experience, as well as how to elevate the Saudi photographic scene to meet the aspirations of Vision 2030. Director of the association Muhammad Al-Sabeih stated that launching the photography forum responds to the active role of photographers in the national scene, inviting photographers to join the photography committee at the association, overseen by artist Omar Al-Nahdi, to enhance their involvement. He also expressed his gratitude to artist Mohammad Mohtaseb for his support of the forum.

It is noteworthy that the forum's sessions will include participation from a select group of photography pioneers in the kingdom, including the dean of photographers artist Khalid Khaidr, artist Naha Al-Ghalib, artist Abdulrahman Al-Hosani, artist Susan Iskandar, artist Tarek Khoja, artist Said Al-Alawi, and artist Abbas Al-Khamis.
