Reports have revealed that Saudi club Al Ittihad Jeddah is preparing a massive offer of £25 million to secure the services of the best goalkeeper in the world during the upcoming summer transfer window. The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported on Sunday that Al Ittihad is interested in signing Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson from Manchester City, who has won the "FIFA" award for the best goalkeeper in the world.
According to the newspaper, Al Ittihad is preparing an initial offer of £25 million for Ederson, who is already considering leaving Manchester City, the Premier League champions. The British newspaper noted that Saudi interest in acquiring Ederson dates back to last year; however, clubs were hesitant to make a significant financial offer for the Brazilian goalkeeper at that time.
It was also clarified that Ederson is in demand by Al Nassr, as they are looking for a replacement for Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina, whose contract expires this summer.
