City currently leads the Premier League table, two points ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool, with six rounds remaining in the season. They are set to host Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals next Wednesday and will face Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals three days later.
In response to a question about his team's chances of winning more titles this season, Guardiola said after their 5-1 victory over Luton last Saturday in the Premier League, "They love playing under pressure. I am sure we will compete until the end. Because I know them. I see the faces before the matches and in meetings. How they prepare."
He added, "Does this mean winning the Premier League and Champions League? No. I don't say that. But will we compete? That is certain." He continued, "We need to be ready but at the same time impose our style of play and try to press the opponent with our way of playing."
