Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike around 4:15 PM, carrying out an aerial assault on the town of al-Jmeijme in the Bent Jbeil district, dropping two missiles in the targeted region.
Israeli artillery shelled the Hammass Hill this morning, in addition to the outskirts of the towns of Shayhin, Marwahin, Tire Harfa, Ramiah, the Blat Mountain area, and the southern outskirts of the town of Mays al-Jabal (Tufa). The Israeli artillery also targeted the eastern outskirts of the town of Mays al-Jabal (Kroum al-Sharqi).
In response, the Lebanese "Hezbollah" announced that it targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers on Cobra Hill with missile strikes, achieving direct hits. Hezbollah confirmed it targeted the Israeli Meron Air Base in retaliation for assassinations in Lebanon and Syria.
The "Times of Israel" reported that air raid sirens sounded for the third time within one hour in towns near the border with Lebanon. The sirens could be heard in the towns of Kfar Hoshin (Safsufa), Ziv'on, Sasa, and Shefer.
Additionally, an Israeli drone struck a shipping container in southern Lebanon with two missiles today, as reported by the Lebanese National News Agency. The agency stated that an Israeli drone "attacked this morning, with two missiles, a shipping container in agricultural land in the Wazzani area," and added that Israeli artillery targeted the southern outskirts of the town of Mays al-Jabal (Tufa).
The agency noted that Israeli warplanes carried out three night raids on the town of Bลีدا, targeting three houses.
