Minister Class Meets Bahia Hariri with Delegation

Minister of Youth and Sports George Class visited the head of the "Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development," Mrs. Bahia Hariri, at her office in Beirut. He was accompanied by the President of the Lebanese Football Federation, Hashem Haidar, the Director General of the Public Corporation for Sports Facilities, Mohammad Awidat, the President of Al-Nejmeh Club, Mazen Al-Zaani, the President of Al-Ahed Club, Tameem Suleiman, the Head of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry, Hassan Sharara, and the Minister's Office Manager, Hussein Omar.

During the meeting, they discussed the upcoming international football commitments of Lebanon, particularly concerning the national teams and clubs representing Lebanon in Asian and Arab competitions. They emphasized the importance of preparing sports facilities, including the "Martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri Sports City in Sidon," for these various events under the supervision of the city's municipality. Minister Class stated that his visit to Mrs. Hariri was primarily due to her national role and as a pivotal figure in Sidon and its region, and it was prompted by his assignment as "Minister of Youth and Sports" by Prime Minister Najib Mikati to oversee the issue of football stadiums and find appropriate solutions for their conditions.
