A Call from Families of Lebanese Students Abroad to Hamiye

The Association of Families of Lebanese Students Abroad has urged Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamiye, who will visit Russia, to "discuss the issues of Lebanese students in Russian state universities with the relevant officials to facilitate their administrative affairs, as they are suffering from difficult moral and financial distress that could undermine their future, and to protect them from the exploitative practices being exercised against many of them." In a statement, the association said, "We are confident that the issue of students will be a matter of concern for His Excellency due to its significance, even if it is outside his agenda, relying on the inherited national qualities in his roots and his bold wisdom in achieving justice, hoping for his attention."
