NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced on Thursday that "the alliance intends to take on more tasks in coordinating military assistance to Kyiv, in order to avoid repeating delays and mistakes in supply operations." During a conference in Prague, Stoltenberg stated, "We will discuss how NATO can play a greater role in coordinating military support and training to reduce previous gaps and delays in supplies. Therefore, I proposed the establishment of a multi-year financial framework to assist Ukraine, in order to set a minimum financial threshold to ensure purchases and provide confidence in the transparency and predictability of assistance to Ukraine." Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov complained about the delays in military assistance coming from the West, confirming that only half of the aid arrives on time.
