Israeli Military Drill in the Golan and Mount Hermon Area

On Sunday morning, the Israeli army announced that it would begin a new military exercise in the north, aimed at increasing the preparedness of its forces for emergencies, with a focus on the operational integration of ground and air capabilities. The Israeli army spokesman stated in a brief communiqué: "The army forces will commence a military maneuver in the Golan and Mount Hermon area starting Sunday afternoon, which will conclude by the afternoon of the following day, involving active movements of security forces and the sound of explosions." The statement further added: "The exercise was planned in advance as part of the army's training program for 2022, and aims to enhance the units' readiness for operational scenarios while focusing on emergency mechanisms, as well as the combat integration of ground and air resources."
