French President Emmanuel Macron stated today, Saturday, in response to questions from internet users about Europe, that he is counting on "Real Madrid to free" French international striker Kylian Mbappe to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Macron said in a video posted on "X": "I rely on Real Madrid to free Kylian so he can come and play with the French national team." This statement from Macron comes a day after Mbappe officially announced his departure from Paris Saint-Germain and French league at the end of the current season.
