Various areas in Lebanon witnessed marches and celebrations on Saturday night following Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, announcing the capture of Israeli soldiers in an ambush and the killing of others in the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza.
A march took place in the Baddawi Palestinian refugee camp in northern Lebanon in celebration of the operation that captured the Israeli soldiers. The Nahr al-Bared camp in northern Lebanon also witnessed a march celebrating this news. Meanwhile, chants and fireworks were set off in the Al-Bass camp in Tyre, southern Lebanon, in celebration of the operation. A video documented residents of the Al-Jalil camp in Baalbek setting off fireworks in joy over this operation as well.
