Jordanian Survives Vehicle Roll-Over from High Mountain

A Jordanian security source reported that the operations room was alerted to a vehicle roll-over incident in the town of Khirja, Bani Kenana District, Irbid Governorate. Upon the arrival of civil defense and ambulance personnel, it was confirmed that the driver had managed to jump out of the vehicle before it fell. The source indicated that the driver suffered minor bruises from jumping out before the vehicle rolled down the mountain.

After investigations, it was determined that the driver was Muayyad Ahmad Al-Khateeb, who, by divine intervention, escaped a certain death along with his father as the vehicle was unable to continue on a steep road. Al-Khateeb told "Al Arabiya.net" that he was driving a pickup truck with his father when they reached an extremely steep road in Khirja, where the vehicle could not proceed and began to roll back.

Al-Khateeb stated that he asked his father to exit the vehicle and placed stones under the rear tires, in addition to letting air out of them. Although his father attempted to follow his instructions, the vehicle’s brakes could not stop it from rolling down the slope. Muayyad jumped from the moving vehicle and sustained minor injuries, while the vehicle continued its roll down the mountain.

Social media activists shared videos of the vehicle's roll-over, which circulated widely, raising questions about the driver's fate, which turned out to be alive.
