"Du" Obtains License to Provide Digital Financial Services

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company "Du" announced today, Monday, that it has obtained a license from the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates to offer new digital financial services to customers in the UAE. With the necessary license from the Central Bank, the company will be able to provide financial solutions and services that will contribute to the development of an advanced and sophisticated financial service system that meets future requirements and addresses the needs of the residents of the UAE in the era of the digital economy. Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company was established in 2005 as the second licensed telecommunications service provider in the UAE, operating under the "Du" and "Virgin Mobile" brands. The company is listed on the Dubai Financial Market, with its primary shareholders being the UAE Investment Authority, Emirates International Telecommunications, and Al-Maamoura Global Holding Company.
