Israeli Army Announces Operation West of Rafah

The Israeli army announced today, Wednesday, the initiation of an operation west of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip. The Israeli army has intensified its bombardment on various regions of the Gaza Strip since the morning hours, resulting in several casualties, injuries, and missing persons under the rubble. Artillery strikes targeted eastern and southern Gaza City, while several Israeli military vehicles advanced to the vicinity of Kuwait Junction and Al-Sikka Street south of the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City, under heavy artillery and gunfire cover.
