Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide stated today, Tuesday, that “we are obligated to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits our country after the International Criminal Court's ruling.” He added, “If there is an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant from the Hague Court, we will have to arrest them upon their arrival in the country.”
Eide emphasized, "All signatory countries must act according to the court's decision, and Norway is the first country in Europe to threaten to arrest them," reaffirming that his country would not oppose the International Criminal Court's decision, which requested Netanyahu's arrest after he was accused of committing "war crimes" in Gaza.
