Fake News About European and Western Countries Withdrawing Their Ambassadors from Lebanon

The Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Ziad Al-Makari, stated that "websites are broadcasting unfounded news, claiming that several European and Western countries, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Britain, Italy, and Spain, are withdrawing their ambassadors from Lebanon." The minister noted that this "pattern of fake news falls within the scope of psychological warfare often resorted to by the Israeli enemy and fueled by various means." The Ministry of Information urged all media outlets, social media platforms, and bloggers during this sensitive period to exercise caution and adhere to professionalism in verifying news sources before spreading them, based on national responsibility first and foremost.
