As part of the Intelligence Directorate's monitoring of individuals engaged in terrorist activities, and based on a directive from the Public Prosecution Office, the Directorate managed to arrest the following citizens: (M.N.), (A.Z.), (A.A.), (A.A.), (M.D.), and (M.T.).
Preliminary investigations revealed that they were active on social media in promoting the ideology of the ISIS terrorist organization, following its publications, holding meetings centered around its ideas and objectives, working to recruit individuals for its benefit, and inciting against the Lebanese Army and security forces. Investigations are ongoing with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
