Casualties in Israeli Shelling on Gaza

Several Palestinians were killed and others injured early Saturday in an airstrike by the Israeli army on Gaza City. Local sources reported that "occupation warplanes targeted three homes in the al-Tuffah and Shuja'iyya neighborhoods of Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of 14 citizens, including children and women, and injuring dozens." The Israeli army also shelled several buildings in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, according to the "Shehab" agency. Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted the al-Shaboura camp in the middle of Rafah early Saturday. The agency noted that "clashes are ongoing between the Palestinian resistance and occupation forces in the western areas of Rafah."
