Spanish network "Relief" reported that Real Madrid is open to the transfer of their striker Joselu to the Saudi league next season. Joselu is currently playing for Real Madrid on loan with an option to buy this summer for 1.5 million euros. According to "Relief," Real Madrid's management has informed coach Carlo Ancelotti that they will convert Joselu's loan into a permanent transfer.
The report indicated that while Real Madrid wishes to retain Joselu's services, they have also informed the player's agents that he is free to consider any offers he receives this summer, especially those from the Saudi league. The Spanish network clarified that despite the contradiction between the club's desire for Joselu to stay and the message conveyed to his agents, this is due to the understanding that the striker is 34 years old, making it difficult for him to get playing time in the upcoming season with the presence of Endrick and Kylian Mbappe.
Real Madrid's management sees that Joselu could benefit from his current form by pursuing another experience, so the club will be open to selling or loaning him after the UEFA Euro 2024 Championship in Germany.
