Ronaldo made his remarks after his team's 4-2 victory over Al-Ittihad on Monday in the final round of the Saudi league, where he scored two goals, becoming the top scorer in a single season in the history of the "Roshen" league (35 goals). He stated, "I am very happy, first after the team finished the season with a win, and after my record-breaking achievement, which I did not expect but is important for me. The team has improved, and we finished the league well."
Regarding the match against Al-Hilal in the King Cup final, Ronaldo commented, "Our next goal is to win the King Cup... the team must give its best. I hope that fair competition prevails during the match and that the final is just, that is what we are waiting for."
It is noteworthy that with his achievement as the top scorer in the Saudi league this season, Ronaldo became the first player in football history to win the top scorer award in four different leagues (Spain, Italy, England, and Saudi Arabia).
