Biden Loses Support in 14 Key States Ahead of Presidential Election

A poll conducted by Blue Labs revealed that U.S. President Joe Biden has lost support in 14 states as his rival Donald Trump rises in prominence ahead of the upcoming presidential election scheduled for November. The poll, published by CNN, indicated that "Trump is outperforming Biden in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, which the current president was able to flip in the 2020 elections." It added that "Americans in Nevada, Colorado, Minnesota, Maine, New Mexico, Virginia, New Hampshire, and part of Nebraska are also losing confidence in Biden." The first debate between Biden and Trump, which took place on June 27, saw a significant advantage for Trump, while Biden appeared confused and incoherent throughout the debate, raising ongoing concerns about his cognitive abilities rather than alleviating them. His poor performance prompted some Democratic politicians and donors to call for his withdrawal from the presidential race against Trump. Last Monday, Trump secured enough votes from members of the Republican National Convention to become the official party nominee for the presidency in the November race.
