Today, Monday, the Emirati football club Al-Jazira announced its contract with Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta to oversee the team's technical staff during the upcoming period. Al-Jazira published photos of Ammouta signing his coaching contract on its X account, captioning it with "He's here." In another post, the Emirati club wrote: "Join us in welcoming our new coach... We are pleased to announce the signing of Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta to lead the first team until 2026." Ammouta, 54, previously led the Jordan national team to a historic achievement in the 2024 AFC Asian Cup, reaching the final before parting ways amicably last month. The Moroccan coach has an impressive coaching career at both club and national levels, achieving notable successes including the CAF Champions League title with Wydad Casablanca and the CAF Confederation Cup with FAR Rabat. Ammouta also won the African Nations Championship in 2020 with the Moroccan local team.
